Women Vitamins - Why Vitamin D Is So Important

There has been a four year study carried out by two famous institutes , one of which is the Harvard Medical School. Both studies concentrated their efforts on Vitamin D intake and the role that this vitamin plays in women's health and whether it was an important element in women vitamins.

Both studies (one did a study of rural women in the state of Nebraska) found that there was sufficient evidence to justify a larger intake of Vitamin D which with these women in both studies, showed that it was an efficient way of reducing their risk of getting cancer but also other diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes.
